Gotta admit the media has a certain knack for blowing their articles horribly out of per-portions. I woke up this morning to this horrible article a local tv station is running as a headline news article. Locking Out Cell Phone Hackers
Apparently its news to take common sense protocols concerning not answering and or clicking on unsolicited SMS/txt's, or emails.
They also go on to recommending locking your phone so miscreants cant access your personal data...
I do not know about you... Personally i do not have true admin/root privileges to any computer i do not feel safe using that computer.
