I was racking my brain over a recent article i found on my favorite website "/." today. Found one among a few interesting articles.
Sounds like the German police force recently engineered and actively uses "legal" rootkits to gather inelegance on suspects. From the first few paragraphs of the article they spun it in a very disturbing way as it sounds like it can be used per say as a breach/bridge device opening up unumberable exploits. http://ccc.de/en/updates/2011/staatstrojaner
In other news as a update in another story concerning US WMD drones are apparently all infected with DOD grade keyloggers. the article go's on to state that its feasible more shadowy hands of the DOD may have intentionality infected the beasty's as a form of Military monitoring. http://tech.slashdot.org/story/11/10/09/057243/predator-drone-virus-could-be-militarys-own-monitoring
